A DINING EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER

The hotel offers fantastic lunch and dinner dining in both the restaurant and public bar and the diversity of the menu will suit any.  Our head chef Sam Winchcomb is really passionate about fresh produce. He takes full advantage of Geelong and the surrounding regions to produce our current menu.  For lunch you can try the Pulled Pork Sliders with chipotle aioli and wombok slaw or the South Australian whiting served with crispy sea-salted fries accompanied by an Italian balsamic vegetable salad.

For dinner why not indulge in a Greek style grilled lamb cutlets marinated in rosemary and mint or prawns, scallops and Portarlington mussels, tossed through house made linguini or crispy skin Atlantic salmon ?.  All of the Elephant and Castle’s local beef is sourced through Penny’s Prime Meats finest free range farms in Birregurra, Bendigo, Ballarat and Portland. For dessert try the Swiss Chocolate Pudding or the Lavender Creme Brulee. Along with food, the extensive wine list and friendly staff to match, we hope to see you for your next outing here at the Elephant.
